COVID-19 UPDATE NOTICE:
Due to Covid-19, we’ve made some changes to our office procedure and protocols. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.
We want to tell you
about the infection control procedures, we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
- Upon arriving at our office, you will call from your vehicle to check-in. You will remain in your vehicle until we are ready to seat you, at which time a staff member will call or meet you at your vehicle.
- A staff member will take your temperature and ask some screening questions before entering the building.
- We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.
- We have implemented additional medical-grade air quality precautions in our office. These include High-Efficiency Particle Air Filter, which is a medical-grade air filtration system, utilized in each operatory. Needlepoint Bipolar Ion Generator installed to our air-conditioning system. Both of these implementations are proven to kill all mold, bacteria, and viruses and ensure the air that we are breathing is clean and pure.
- In addition to our regular PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocol, we are now including gowns, N95 or KN95 masks, and face shields for every procedure.
