Here at Victorian Dental, we understand how inconvenient any dental emergency is. From cut lips and sore gums to broken teeth and awful toothaches, we all dread any type of tooth ailment.

 

They never happen at convenient times, and until taken care of, are very stressful. That is why we offer same day/next day appointments. You will come in and see Dr. Rae, he will diagnose the problem, and you will leave the office out of pain, with a plan of action to restore you to full dental health.

 

Dental emergencies are very stressful. To better assist you, we accept most insurances as well as many payment options available to make sure you get the treatment you need at an affordable price.

Do you have a Dental Emergency?

Here are some of the things that should be considered a dental emergency, plus some simple steps you can take to minimize pain before you come into our office for your emergency appointment.

Save any pieces of the broken tooth and rinse your mouth out with warm water. Apply a cold compress to the area to decrease swelling and pain until you can come in to our office.

Rinse your mouth out with warm water. Then use dental floss to make sure there isn’t any food or other debris causing the pain. Call us at 386-624-7658 and we will make sure that you are seen right away.

Clean the area and apply an ice pack to reduce swelling. If the bleeding doesn’t stop, come into our office right away.

Gently rinse off the knocked out tooth without removing any attached tissue. If possible, hold the tooth in place in the socket. Otherwise, put the tooth in a glass of milk and call us immediately at 386-624-7658.

If you notice a painful, pimple-like swelling on your gums, rinse with salt water and immediately contact us at call us immediately at 386-624-7658. Dental abscesses can lead to more serious infections if not treated promptly.
