Meet The Dentist "Your Hometown Dentist"
Dr. Rae began his journey toward dentistry at DeLand High School as a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program.
This highly demanding program prepares students for the high demands of a college course load. This program gave him an advantage at Florida State University where he received two degrees, a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Bachelors of Arts in Classical History.
After taking acceptance exams required by dental schools, Dr. Rae became a student at Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry. This program focuses students on clinical experience, fashioning a superior graduate. As a private school, Nova allows its dental students to focus on a high level of experience in all aspects of dentistry while also developing the business and social skills necessary to become a valued member of their chosen community.
Dr. Rae, having grown up in DeLand, is excited to be able to contribute to the DeLand community by providing quality dental care at a reasonable price. Reputation and a positive patient experience are top priorities here at Victorian Dental. We strive to make dentistry an enjoyable experience that people look forward to. The integration of modern technology, and caring staff provides an atmosphere that is comfortable for all patients.
Our New Office is located at 131 Victoria Commons, and We are proud to become a part of the Victoria Park Community. In addition, Dr. Rae is a proud member of various local, and national dental communities. He actively attends local study clubs and national dentistry meetings. Dr. Rae also plans on becoming a part of the political aspects of dentistry to be able to positively affect the dental practice on a state and national level. In his free time, Dr. Rae can often be found near the water. Dr. Rae has a true appreciation for all that Florida has to offer especially the beautiful natural springs, and the plentiful ocean.

All digital imaging systems we have to provide higher quality diagnostic radio graphs. This is essential to establishing the understanding of what dental care is needed, and provides an advantage in determining exactly what type of treatment the tooth requires. Our fillings use a multi-layer technique that adds strength and perfect color matching which allows for a filling that is both permanent, and unnoticeable. Each tooth has a unique color gradient, and with our layering technique, we can match these variations to provide a superior look that integrates perfectly with your smile.
The pride and joy of our Advanced Technological Lineup is our Ce-Rec Machine. This machine allows us to provide superior crowns in only a single visit. Patients are no longer required to have multiple visits, and endure temporary crowns before receiving their permanent crown. Ce-Rec crowns are superior to other crowns in several aspects. The main advantage of Ce-Rec Crowns is their non-metal base, which allows for a more natural look, and feel. Our office lab features a custom staining area to ensure the crowns are an exact color match. Everyone has slight variations from standard shades, therefore custom staining is necessary to create an exact color match. The number one issue people have with crown, and bridgework involves variations from their natural shade. Our system eliminates this problem.

Meet The Dentist "Your Hometown Dentist"
Dr. Lewis grew up here in DeLand. She loves this small town and has always called it home.
She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Zoology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida. After completing her studies she moved to Broward County. She was in private practice with Dr. Mark Weiss in North Miami Beach from 2001 to 2019. During this time she was an active member of the Super Series study club. She understands how important it is to continue one’s education so she regularly takes CE classes.
She moved back to DeLand in June of 2019 and started practicing at Victorian Dental. Dr. Lewis is excited to bring her 20 years of experience back home to work with the people of this community.
Dr. Lewis is happy to be living back in her hometown of DeLand. It is the perfect place for her and her husband to raise their two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time, with her family.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Central Florida District Dental Association.
